WCG 2008 Polls

Vote for COD4 @ WCG 2008

As you may know, Call of duty 4 : Modern Warfare will be available on November 6th in North America, November 9th in Europe.

Its release is one of the most important event this fall for the online gaming community.

From now you can vote for upcoming the Call of Duty 4 in the selection for the WCG2008.

Streaming mandatory in Call of Duty

A couple of months ago, Game-Violations announced they would start to support Call of Duty. GV showed their scripts catches more players then the regular PunkBuster does, so we felt everyone has to use these scripts. Starting from October 1st, all servers have to stream to Game-Violations!

How to get your server streaming to Game-Violations ?

Server admins can download the needed scripts here. Servers that don't stream during official ClanBase matches will resu.....

Game-Violations to end scrip...

Great folks from Game-Violations www.game-violations.org in co-operation with ClanBase CoD2 crew have found a way to detect script abuse. Read full story inside.

Couple of weeks ago in one CoD2 EC XV match issue of scripts abuse was highlighted again.
Issue of scripts abuse is probably as old as games itself, we all saw or suspected someone of using lag binds (which are usually scripts) , or recently in CoD2 its so called "garand script" which makes garand shooting as automatic rifle.

Patch 1.3

After the important patch 1.2, Activision released few monthes ago their new 1.3 patch.
Not loads of things on this one. The main feature of this new patch is the fix of pbguid bug which was creating lots of troubles and conflicts on ladders like Cl

MULTIPLAYER FIXES

-Raised the gamestate from 16k to 128k
-Added loading bars to maps mp_harbor and mp_rhine
-Addressed the PB GUID issue where players were not being assigned PB GUID's of exactly 32 characters.

mp_rhine map changes:
-Fixed player getting on top of broken wall and seeing through second story of bombed out building.

mp_harbor map changes:
-Reduced overall fog density
-Fixed missing water texture
-Fixed player not being able to shoot through lower portion of the first gap in a railing .....
